Custom Weddings by Rev. Joanna Lubkin,
UU & Interfaith Minister
COVID-19 UPDATE: Yes, I am still officiating weddings during COVID-19! We’ll work together to figure out how to safely but sweetly celebrate your wedding, whether in a distanced outdoor ceremony or streaming to your loved ones online. I’m grateful that years of working with Zoom have prepared me to add tech skills to my wedding officiating just for this moment.
Raised in Judaism and ordained a Unitarian Universalist minister, I love co-creating ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and joyous. I celebrate all kinds of love and all kinds of religious (and non-religious) backgrounds — interfaith, pluralistic, and off-beat ceremonies are my wheelhouse.
Be it a big church service or intimate backyard ceremony, your wedding will be an authentic reflection of you and your love.
In addition to serving UU congregations and officiating weddings, I’m a coach for clergy and religious professionals.
About the couple featured above: You may be wondering, “Why is the couple in this photo wearing tee shirts to their wedding?” Answer: They’d just run the Boston Marathon! When you publicize on your website that you do unique, custom, quirky weddings, sometimes people find you for just that. Read more about Marc and Karine’s amazing wedding here.
