I will not die an unlived life
I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire.
I choose to inhabit my days,
to allow my living to open me,
to make me less afraid, more accessible,
to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise.
I choose to risk my significance;
to live so that which came to me as seed
goes to the next as blossom
and that which came to me as blossom,
goes on as fruit.

Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. I’m Joanna Lubkin, an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister who’s rooted in Judaism. I serve as the Minister for Lifespan Learning at the Unitarian Universalist Area Church in Sherborn, MA and as a wedding officiant, specializing in custom ceremonies. My perspective on life and ministry is one of wonder, gratitude, joy, and connection. I’m called to help each of us live life fully, to inhabit our days, and to live so that which came to us as seed goes to the next as blossom.
